From the Builder: “The family owned an older home on a small lake in Kentucky. They contacted us to help them create a modern kitchen that included an open floor plan for entertaining. They requested a large island with seating that could double as a buffet area. They also wanted to keep the rustic feel of the home while incorporating their contemporary taste. To accomplish the wants and needs of the clients, we incorporated Wellborn’s Select Hancock doorstyle in Glacier, floating shelves and a dark shadow stained island.”

From the Builder: “This was a custom home. We modified the blueprints to achieve all of the clients goals. She requested a large-island-raised to 40”, accent color hood, and island. The client also requested generous pantry storage, hidden counter top appliances, custom panels for refrigerator, deep drawers, and drawer roll outs for added storage. We accomplished this by incorporating Wellborn’s Premier Seville Square in Maple and Oak finishing them with Glacier Maple and Onyx Oak.”

From the Builder:“The condo is a penthouse unit overlooking the beautiful back bay of Orange Beach, Alabama. The original kitchen lacked a wow factor as well as functionality that the clients desired. The right side of kitchen is floor to ceiling windows that bring in the beautiful scenery of the bay. It was important to the client to create a kitchen that would enhance and compliment the the water view rather then distract from it. We made sure to use every inch of space for functional storage, a large island and wet bar. We used Wellborn’s Premiere & Estate Series door in Bristol and Willow to finish.”
